Frequently asked questions
How do I cancel my Premium subscription?
iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → NUR → 'Cancel Subscription'. Android: Google Play → Profile → Payments and subscriptions → NUR. After cancellation, you keep Premium benefits until the end of the current period.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Profile → Settings → Delete My Account. Your personal data is permanently erased within 72 hours (KVKK Art. 7 Right to Erasure).
How do I restore a purchase on a new device?
Sign in with the same Apple ID / Google account; your Premium subscription is recognized automatically. If something goes wrong: Profile → Settings → 'Restore purchase'.
Why am I not receiving notifications?
On your device: Settings → Notifications → NUR → 'Allow notifications' must be on. In the app: Profile → Notification Preferences → make sure the relevant categories are enabled.
How do I change my email or password?
Profile → Settings → Profile info. Changing your email requires verification of the new address.
I forgot my password
On the sign-in screen: 'Forgot password' → enter your email → use the reset link in the email. The link is valid for 24 hours.
Prayer times don't match my city
Profile → Settings → make sure location permission is granted. You can also pick your city manually. We recommend cross-checking with Türkiye's Diyanet İşleri Başkanlığı data.
How do Dhikr Rooms work?
Premium members can host private or public dhikr rooms. Invite friends and recite dhikr together — counters sync in real time.
How do I report inappropriate content?
Use the 'Report' button on a room or user card. Reports are reviewed within 48 hours.
Can I use NUR offline?
Yes — Premium lets you download hymns, prayers, and Quran recitations to listen without internet.
How do I redeem an invite code?
Enter the code in the 'Invite code' field during sign-up. 10 successful invites = 30 days of Premium.
Is my data sold to third parties?
No. Your data is never sold for marketing. It is shared only with required service providers (Firebase/Google, Apple, RevenueCat) for service delivery. Full detail in our Privacy Policy.
